About These Noise Types
White Noise
Equal energy at every frequency. Sounds like TV static or a rushing waterfall. Effective for masking sudden sounds and improving concentration in noisy environments.
Pink Noise
Equal energy per octave (1/f power spectrum). Deeper and more balanced than white noise. Resembles steady rain or wind through trees. Studies suggest it may improve deep sleep.
Brown Noise
Also called Brownian or red noise (1/f² spectrum). A deep, low rumble like thunder in the distance or a strong waterfall. Popular for deep focus, meditation, and sleep.
