June 15 billing cliff — are you exposed?

Update (2026-06-22): Anthropic paused this on the day it was due. The June 15 split was paused on 2026-06-15 — nothing changed for now; claude -p / Agent SDK / GitHub Actions still draw from your normal subscription limits (the-decoder). It remains announced and could return — use this as preparation, not a live emergency.

On 2026-06-15 Anthropic moves programmatic Claude usage off your subscription onto a separate dollar-metered credit at full API list prices (no rollover). Interactive terminal use is unchanged. Check your exposure and share the card. Nothing leaves your browser.

Do you run Claude programmatically? (check all you use)
Agent SDK, claude -p / headless, Claude Code GitHub Actions, and third-party agent apps all move to the new credit pool. Plain interactive use in your terminal, claude.ai, and Cowork do not.
Roughly how heavy is that programmatic usage?

This card tells you whether you're exposed and your plan's new credit cap — it deliberately doesn't guess your dollar bill, because that depends on your exact token mix at API rates. To put real numbers on it and decide stay / switch / hybridize, the Migration Playbook ($19) has the cost-forecasting worksheet, the decision tree, and a 48-hour rollback checklist. Free first: the 13 cost-spike patterns reference (the lever for making the new credit last) and the full June 15 explainer.
